1. Information we do not collect 我们不收集的信息

SpookyAI is a pure front-end website. We do not require an account, do not ask for a name or email to use any tool, and do not upload your photos to any server. When you use a photo tool — zombie effects, costume try-on, pet costumes, makeup simulator, avatar generator, meme maker, wallpaper maker, party invites — your image is read by HTML5 Canvas directly in your browser, processed locally, and downloaded back to you. At no point does the image leave your device.

The contact form on this site does not transmit anything to a server either; it exists only to demonstrate the interface. For a real reply, we ask you to email us from your own mail client.

2. What we store on your device (localStorage) 本地存储

We use your browser's localStorage for two convenience features, both entirely under your control:

• Language preference — your choice of English or Simplified Chinese, so the UI stays in your language on the next visit.
• Favorites list — the tools and articles you have starred, stored under the key spooky_favs. It contains only an id, a title, a relative URL and a timestamp.

These values never leave your device. If you clear your browser's site data, they are gone — and nothing is backed up anywhere.

3. Cookies and local storage Cookie 说明

First-party cookies: we do not set persistent first-party cookies. The localStorage items described above are not cookies and expire when you clear site data.

Third-party cookies: when advertising is enabled (see below), our advertising partners may set cookies and use similar technologies to measure and personalize ads. A short cookie-consent bar may appear on your first visit; your choice is remembered.

4. Google AdSense and third-party advertising 广告披露

This site displays ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not have personal information to sell, because we do not collect it.

Where analytics is used, it is limited to anonymous, aggregated metrics such as page views, country and device type, with no cross-site fingerprinting and no personal identifiers. We use it only to understand which tools are useful and which need improvement.

6. Your rights 你的权利

Because we store almost nothing, exercising your rights is simple:

• Delete favorites: click the star again on any saved item, or use the "Clear all favorites" button on the Favorites page.
• Delete everything locally: in your browser settings, clear site data for spookyai.app. This removes the language choice and favorites list.
• Opt out of personalized ads: visit Google Ads Settings or use the cookie-consent bar.
• Ask a question: email zjp133@outlook.com and we will respond within 1-2 business days.

7. Children and COPPA 儿童隐私

SpookyAI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The tools themselves are family-friendly, but any parent who wishes to block advertising can do so through the cookie-consent bar or browser-level ad blocking. If you believe a child has provided us with any personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes to this policy 政策更新

We may update this page as the site grows. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date. The date at the top of this document always reflects the current version.
